DBS Checks
DBS – Disclosure and Barring Service
The Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) have merged to become the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). CRB checks are now called DBS checks.
A DBS check may be needed for:
- Certain jobs or voluntary work - eg working with children or in healthcare.
The Law requires all employers to ensure you have carried out sufficient checks on all prospective employees. We appreciate the service you need has to be quick and efficient to enable you to meet with your commitments under the legislation.
We are delighted, therefore, to introduce a new service offered by KCTA Disclosure Service Ltd.
KCTA Disclosure Service Ltd is an Umbrella Body providing a thorough, efficient and personal service to the employers.
